   Dr. Mac, as she was affectionately referred to, was an instructor of English at Limestone College for fifty years. She is revered by many as the embodiment of the “Spirit of Limestone.” During her tenure Dr. Mac was also involved in civic affairs, church duties and wrote the official history book of Limestone College titled, 

   A History of Limestone College: 1845-1970 by  Dr. Montague McMillan.
