Q. How do I find something about the history of laptops?

To find information about the history of computers and laptops please visit our CREDO Literati database.  First go to the Library's home page at my.limestone.edu/library .  Next select Research Databases from the Library Resources listing.  In the alphabetical listings select the letter "C" and scroll down until you see CREDO Literati and select this link.  From off campus you will need to login with your Limestone email username and password (same information used to access the LC Portal and Blackboard Learn).

You could also use our Search Everything listed here  http://libguides.limestone.edu/content.php?pid=447255&sid=3665123 (be sure to select the Full Text limiter for full text articles) and select the Articles tab.

In both databases try the following search terms:

"first laptops"

"first laptop invented"

history of computers

history of computers and laptops
