For books, check the Kate Online Catalog. To get to the KATE Catalog, start at the Library Home Page  and click on Search Our Kate Online Catalog.

To locate Electronic Books (E-books) start at the E-Books search page: http://libguides.limestone.edu/electronicbooks

For full text articles do the following: Visit the Research Databases Library Guide (http://libguides.limestone.edu/alldatabases).  If you are off-campus you will be prompted to login with your Limestone email username & password before being taken to the initial search screen. The EBSCO Host search feature will allow you to search all the library databases at once.

Once you are in a library research database, be sure that you check the box for Full Text if you need to retrieve the complete article right away. Also, if you need only peer reviewed articles, check that box as well.

Possible search terms for your topic may include:

Medicaid AND history

Medicaid policy

Medicaid AND United States

Medicaid beneficiaries

You can also search using individual databases via the Library Guide designed for your course . There are class specific and/or subject specific guides that guide you through finding background information, finding books & eBooks, finding articles, tutorials, citation help, etc.

To locate the Library Guide for your course, use the Browse by Subject listing, click on Social Work and scroll through the list of Social Work courses until you find the one you are enrolled in.

Click on the Find Articles tab near the top of the page.  This page lists relevant library research databases that contain articles pertaining to your topic.

Examples of such databases include the SocIndex, Social Sciences Full Text, Academic OneFile and Academic Search Complete.
