To begin using library resources visit the library’s home page: my.limestone.edu/library. From here you will be able to access a variety of sources. As an off campus student, you will be prompted to login using your Limestone email username and password before accessing the library's online resources.

To search the library databases, go to the Research Databases link on the library homepage. Once you are in a library research database, be sure that you check the box for Full Text if you need to retrieve the complete article right away. Also, if you need only peer reviewed articles, check that box as well. You may want to search the following databases for your topic (use the A-Z list to find the following databses):

Social Sciences Full Text

SocIndex Full Text

Academic Search Premier

Examples of search terms you may want to try:

managed care and costs and healthcare

managed care and types

managed care and "affordable healthcare act"

It is also a good idea to find some background information on managed care. A good place would be the Oxford Bibliographies Online database - once in the database, click on the Social Work at the top. Then enter the search "managed care" in the search box.

To locate e-books on the topic use the Find Electronic Books link: http://libguides.limestone.edu/electronicbooks.

I am not sure which course you are taking, but there may be a Library Guide designed for your course. To get to the guides (called LibGuides), go to the library website my.limestone.edu/library and click on the LibGuides link. You can also go directly to the LibGuides by clicking on  http://libguides.limestone.edu/.  From the Browse by Subject listing, click on the discipline for the course.
