To find information on female circumcision, as well as historical information, first visit the Library's homepage at http://my.limestone.edu/library.  Next, select our Search Everything link, listed under Library Resources.  At the Search Everything page select the Full Text box for only full text articles and journals and select the box for scholarly/peer reviewed material (if needed).    In the Search Everything search box type in "female circumcision."  Additional search terms that could be used are:

female genital mutiliation

circumcision and female

history of circumcision and female

cutting history

cutting culture and female

Search results can be limited to source type, date, journal title, subject, or geographical location.

The library also provides many ebooks (electronic books) on this subject.  To access the ebooks, please select this link http://libguides.limestone.edu/electronicbooks.  The same search terms can be used in the ebook environment, as well.
