To search for articles, electronic books, news articles, and journals on your topic please visit the Library's web page at http://my.limestone.edu/library and select "New - Search Everything" listed under Library Resources. Once at the Search Everything guide, be sure to check the Full Text and Scholarly limiters for only full text and scholarly material. In the search box type in the following search term:
criminal justice system and discrimination
From off-campus you will be prompted to login with your Limestone College username and password. This is the same information you use to access your Blackboard and LC Portal interface.
You will see many journal articles listed. You can narrow down your search by scrolling down and looking in the left-hand link bar for "Source Types" to limit your results.
You can also use the Library's Research by Subject guide at http://libguides.limestone.edu/content.php?pid=360472&sid=3588815. Select Criminal Justice and review the list of databases specific to your topic. We reccomend searching Criminal Justice with Full Text, Films On Demand, InfoTrac Newstand, Issues and Controversies, and TOPICsearch. Try the following search terms in each database (be sure to limit to full text and scholarly):
criminal justice system and poverty
criminal justice system and discrimination
criminal justice system and economic status
criminal justice system and race
The library also has many electronic books on the criminal justice system at http://libguides.limestone.edu/electronicbooks.
