Hi,

You can access online articles you need from either the Social Work or Psychology library research guides.

To get to the guides (called LibGuides), go to the library website my.limestone.edu/library and click on the LibGuides link.

You can also go directly to the LibGuides by clicking on  http://libguides.limestone.edu/

From the Browse by Subject listing, click on either Social Work or Psychology.

Then if you cannot find your specific course guide, just go to the general subject guide (Social Work, Psychology, etc)

Click on the Find Articles tab near the top of the page.  This page lists relevant library research databases that contain articles pertaining to your topic.

Examples of such databases include the Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection, Social Sciences Full Text, Academic OneFile and Academic Search Complete.

As an off campus student, you will be prompted to login using your Limestone email username and password before accessing the library's online resources.

Once you are in a library research database, be sure that you check the box for Full Text if you need to retreive the complete article right away. Also, if  you need only peer reviewed articles, check that box as well.

Possible search terms for your topic may include "family counseling and (the counseling technique you are comparing), "marriage counseling....", etc. If you get a large number of results, you may want to narrow your search down by date (example: past five years), by specific populations (age, ethnicity, etc).

Please let us know if you need more assistance.
