For books or ebooks, check the Kate Online Catalog. To get to the KATE Catalog, start at the Library Home Page  and click on Search Our Kate Online Catalog. Search: medicaid and history.

For full text articles do the following:   start at the Library Home Page click on Research Databases (all databases) If you are off-campus you will be prompted to login with your Limestone email username & password before being taken to the initial search screen of the database you choose. Some suggested databases include America History and Life, Academic Search Complete, and US History in Context.

For more information use one of our LibGuides (Library Research Guides).  There are class specific and/or subject specific guides that guide you through finding background information, finding books & eBooks, finding articles, tutorials, citation help, etc.

From the Browse by Subject listing, click on Social Work.

Then if you cannot find your specific course guide, just go to the general subject guide (Social Work)

Click on the Find Articles tab near the top of the page.  This page lists relevant library research databases that contain articles pertaining to your topic.

Examples of such databases include the SocIndex, Social Sciences Full Text, Academic OneFile and Academic Search Complete.

As an off campus student, you will be prompted to login using your Limestone email username and password before accessing the library's online resources.

Once you are in a library research database, be sure that you check the box for Full Text if you need to retreive the complete article right away. Also, if  you need only peer reviewed articles, check that box as well.

Possible search terms for your topic may include:  medicaid AND history
