Q. Which database would be best to research information about juvenile macular degeneration and Stargardt's Disease?

For journal articles, we suggest visiting the Databases by Subject listing here http://libguides.limestone.edu/subjectdatabase and selecting "Health & Medicine".  A great database to search for Stargardt's Disease is CINAHL with Full Text.  Another great source would be Health & Wellness Resource Center and Medline.
