The easiest way to find e-Book sources on the "castle doctrine" is to go to the library homepage at, then click on the Search Everything Bink at the top. This allows you to search all of the library resources. We can then limit your search results to just e-books.

Once you are in Search Everything, clcik on the Advance Search link.Type your search terms in the search boxes provided. Some suggestions:

"castle doctrine" OR "stand your ground" AND "law or policy or legislation"

You will retrieve many results. To limit your results to only eBooks, go to the left column and select eBooks as your choice of Source Type. Also, limit to Full Text (Online) option. The results are sorted by relevance, so you will want to pay close attention to the first several hits.

You may also go to the library's eBooks page at and conduct a similar search using our eReference sources - Literati by Credo and Gale Virtual Reference Library (you need to scroll down for these). Additionally, you may search in EBL Pascal Electronic Books (right at the top of the page) to find titles Limestone does not own.
