I am doing a research paper on death, where do I find peer reviews for this topic?

Answer

To search for peer reviewed articles, you will want to search one or more of our online Research Databases at http://libguides.limestone.edu/alldatabases. You can search a general database that covers a variety of topics (Academic Search Complete, etc) or you can search more subject specific databases (SocIndex, Social Sciences Full Text, Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection)

Be sure to select options for Peer Reviewed and Full Text directly under the search box.

When researching the topic try searching for terms such as:

Death

Dying

Mortality

You may want to combine terms to limit the research to specific geographical areas such as:

Death AND United States

There are many related subjects such as:

Suicide

Homicide

Grief

Sudden death

Or you can research specific causes of death like:

Cardiac Arrest

Cancer

Violent deaths

Terminal Illness

These are only a few suggestions, you will find other terms to use for additional research as you search our databases.
