Where can I find career or job research in the library?

Answer

To find information about career fields and specific jobs, we suggest using the following resources:

  • Ferguson's Career Guidance Center: Browse industries and careers and learn about job history, earnings, outlook, work environment, education, and more (you'll need to be signed-in to the library databases to use this database off-campus).
  • Occupational Outlook Handbook: Browse industry and career information including job descriptions, pay, similar occupations, state and area data, and more from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
